Thai Yoga Massage
— Feel the Difference —
Nuad Boran, also known as Nuad Thai, Traditional Thai Massage, or Thai Yoga Massage, boasts a history spanning 2,500 years. Rooted in the rich tapestry of yoga, acupressure, and traditional herbal medicine, it is often referred as “lazy men’s yoga.” However, here at Nuad Boran, we prefer to characterize it as “wise one’s wellness,” considering it an ancient healing art that everyone deserves to experience.
History
Thai massage was traditionally practiced by monks as a component of Thai medicine, alongside herbal remedies, dietary advice, and spiritual practices. It was used to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being, as well as to address specific ailments and imbalances in the body.
Today, traditional Thai massage is practiced worldwide and is recognized for its therapeutic benefits, including improved circulation, relaxation, stress relief, increased flexibility, and relief from musculoskeletal pain. It remains deeply rooted in Thai culture and continues to be passed down through both formal training programs and informal apprenticeships.

Will
My journey with Thai massage began with a trip to Thailand in early 2017 after becoming a Registered Massage Therapist in Canada. During the trip, I experienced the transformative power of Traditional Thai Massage for the first time. A year later, I decided to return to Thailand to complete entry-level courses in this ancient modality.
Witnessing the profound benefits of Thai Massage on my clients back in Canada, I felt the need of a more comprehensive training. In 2019, I enrolled in an immersive learning experience, spending nearly three months in Chiangmai, Thailand. There, I went through rigorous training at the International Training Massage School, earning certifications as an Advanced Practitioner and Teacher in Traditional Thai Massage.
Today, with a wealth of knowledge encompassing Traditional Thai Massage, Thai Herbal Compress Massage, Reflexology, and an array of other modalities including Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage, Guasha, and Cupping Therapy, I am eager to share this ancient healing art with the community I live and love.
Megumi
My name is Megumi, and I was born and raised in Japan. In 2012, while working as an Esthetician, I had my first experience with Thai Massage at the spa I was employed at, and I immediately fell in love with it. Over the span of eight years, I have spent a lot of time practicing and traveling to Thailand to learn new techniques and deepen my knowledge of Thai massage. After finishing Teacher Training at ITM in Chiangmai, Thailand, I decided to move to Canada for its beautiful landscape, wonderful lifestyle and work culture.
I believe that Thai massage benefits not only the body but also the mind. That’s why I prefer a slow, rhythmic, steady, and smooth massage style for most of my clients. I am passionate about bringing this amazing modality to a broader audience and making it a mainstream massage style in Canada.
Eri
My name is Eri, and my journey with Thai massage began in Thailand, where I received a traditional treatment that deeply moved me with its healing power. That experience awakened a lasting passion for this ancient practice. As a Certified Yoga Instructor, I developed a strong interest in connecting more personally with each student’s physical and emotional needs, which eventually led me to study Thai massage more seriously and deeply. With a foundation in yoga, I’ve come to appreciate how Thai massage and yoga beautifully complement each other—both emphasizing breath, movement, balance, and mindful pressure. My goal is to offer authentic Thai massage that blends the therapeutic power of stretching and touch, helping people feel more open, grounded, and relaxed in both body and mind.
Adriana
My name is Adriana, and I bring with me over two decades of physiotherapy experience rooted in my native Brazil, where my lifelong dedication to healing first began. This passion eventually guided me to Canada in search of a better life—one that continues to be shaped by my commitment to helping others through meaningful, hands-on care. With a strong background in anatomy and rehabilitation, I’ve discovered how the principles of physiotherapy and the ancient art of Thai massage can work in harmony—bridging science and tradition. My goal is to offer deeply restorative treatments that relieve pain, promote healing, and support physical and emotional well-being through intuitive touch and mindful technique.
Jessica W.
My name is Jessica, and I am a fitness enthusiast with extensive Thai massage training. I’ve had the privilege of learning from multiple experienced instructors and hold certifications in this traditional healing practice. Through my training, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for Thai massage and its ability to improve mobility, release tension, and support overall well-being. With a strong background in fitness and movement, I bring a solid understanding of anatomy and body mechanics into each treatment.
By combining clinical knowledge with traditional Thai techniques, I create sessions that are both effective and deeply restorative. My goal is to help clients move more freely, feel more connected to their bodies, and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Whether you’re dealing with stiffness, tension, or simply looking to improve your mobility, I would be happy to support you on your wellness journey. I look forward to welcoming you to your session.
